Bourbonnais, IL. – David
McAloon will officially announce his candidacy for the office of State Representative, 75th District on Tuesday,
June 19th, 2007 at two separate events in the district.
First, at 5:00 p.m. David will be in his hometown of Bourbonnais
at the Brickstone Restaurant on William Latham Dr. He will then head to Morris for a 7:00 p.m. announcement at Maria’s Italian Restaurant on RT. 47.
McAloon believes that a State Representative should be a civil servant and not a politician. “For too long politicians
have represented special interest groups and insider interests.” According to McAloon, “They
have not served the public nor the people of the district they were elected to represent.”
“There is a constant push to raise taxes and fees while at the same time taking away more of the freedoms from
Illinois families,” says McAloon. He believes there is a better way.
David McAloon is a Ronald Reagan Conservative and like his fellow Illinoisan, he believes in limited government, defending
personal freedoms, personal responsibility and the rule of law in Illinois and the United States of America.
The 75th District includes all or part of Grundy, Will, Kankakee, LaSalle, Iroquois and Livingston Counties.
